Weekends are so special. It's only when you don't have them that you realise how important they are for recuperating, resting & reviving you for the week ahead. Stress increases the production of cortisol in the brain - cortisol is the hormone responsible for our 'fight or flight' reactions. Constant stress depletes the adrenals and consequently the thyroid and will most certainly result in a higher risk of sickness - both coldy and more serious! Switch your work head off and have a go of some of these things this weekend - relax your mind and look after yourself. It's the alkaline thing to do.
