Healthy Meets Delicious Restaurants in London

First and foremost I am a foodie.  Being brought up in the restaurant world, as my father owned and ran French restaurants, taste and flavour are so important to me so I love going out to restaurants.  Its always a bonus when they are healthy as it doesn't have to be part of my 30% (more here on my 70/30 rule), but sometimes its not and its so worth it! You have to live right?! 2 restaurants I have been to this month that I loved... (healthy & not so!)

1. Nopi - Ottolenghi's stand alone restaurant in Soho bursts with flavour and inspiration.  If you go for breakfast try the black rice porridge - it was delicious.  The main courses I love are: Burrata, nectarines, coriander seeds, white balsamic // Roasted butternut squash, cardamom yoghurt, pumpkin seeds // Yellow, green and runner beans, samphire, Dijon vinaigrette I am sure the menu changes all the time so just ask for a variation of the vegetarian options and you will be delighted with the outcome. Top tip: wear baggy trousers you will want to eat everything or at least take it home in a doggy bag! Check out the loo's the mirrored walls are quite a trip trying to work out how to get out of there!

2. Petersham Nurseries Summer supper club - I am in love with Petersham Nurseries.  Its one of my favourite places in London to go.  Its so stunning and worth a visit for tea even if you don't want to have lunch or dinner there.  They run supper clubs every month that are expensive but very worth it.  The surroundings, atmosphere and amazing food make up for the hole in your wallet by the end of the night. Its worth saving up for. I went to the summer one but I have also been to one at Christmas which was magical. Its a perfect date place! Top tip: Ladies wear flat shoes as you are literally in a garden centre and bring something warm if its a chilly night Checkout the beautiful gardens and the fab shed bathrooms.
