Warmed Thyme and Lemon Pack Choy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Serves 1 or 2 as side dish | Pre time: 5 minutes | Cooking time: 5 minutes | Skill: Easy

The perfect zesty asian side or base for your protein - so quick to make.  I love the slices of garlic and almonds through it that just make the dish sing with flavour. 


Ingredients
 

1 clove garlic sliced
1 sprig of fresh thyme
1 slice of lemon
 inch of pink salt
1 tbsp sesame oil 
200g pak choy
1 tsp brown rice vinegar
20g flaked almonds

     
    Instructions 
     
    Put the garlic, thyme, sesame oil, salt, brown rice vinegar in a frying pan on a medium heat, leave to warm up till it starts to sizzle. Then add the pak choy.
     
    Sautee on a medium heat for 2-3 minutes till the pack choy wilts then add the flaked almonds and serve straight away. Perfect as a side of just on its own.
