Matcha Ice Cream

Nothing more delicious than a bowl of ice cream and the fact this is good for you too is even better! I love matcha is like my coffee kick in the morning so now it’s sunny, I love the fact that I can be refreshed at the same time as getting my kick! Matcha 15 times more powerful than green tea. It gives you sustained energy for up to 6 hours without the jitters.

Ingredients

500ml almond milk or coconut milk
2 tsp matcha powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp xantham gum
100ml rice syrup or any other sweetener syrup.

Method

Put the milk, matcha powder, vanilla essence and rice syrup into a blender and blend. Then add the xantham gum it will thicken it up.

Either put into an ice-cream maker or put into a Tupperware and stir every half an hour so it doesn’t crystallise. Enjoy with some bee pollen or coconut chips on the top.
